Fellow ‘Trinitarians’,
This past Sunday we celebrated Trinity Sunday. Not only is the Holy Trinity
the one true God as revealed in the Bible, but it is the name whereby our
church is named! So we truly are TRINITARIANS!
I have been asked recently by several members of Trinity, with the changing
restrictions, what we are doing with worship, meetings and activities at
church. Our Executive Board is meeting via Zoom this coming Monday evening
(6/15) and will discuss these matters. As of now we are continuing to
record worship services and put them up online. We are also offering
Drive-In services each Sunday morning in the month of June at 9:30am. As of
now it has not been decided how we will proceed in July and August. I will
let you know as soon as we come up with a plan.
Psalm 46 is one of my favorites, and of course is a favorite for us
Lutherans. In these troubling times it is very comforting and assuring! I
encourage you to read it and give thanks to God for His ever present help in
these unsettling times! “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present
help in times of trouble!” The peace of the Lord, our mighty fortress be
with you!
